Three ways of customs transit

(1)Customs declaration in advance for customs transit

①Importing declares in advance for customs transit: referring to the imported goods first declaring in destination, then going to the point of entry to go through customs transit of importing.

②Exporting declares in advance for customs transit: referring to the exported goods first declaring before arriving at the monitoring department of port of shipment, then the goods going through customs transit procedures of exporting after arriving at the monitoring department.

(2)Direct customs transit

①Direct customs transit of importing: referring to the imported goods directly going through customs transit procedures in customs of point of entry, then going through declaration procedures in customs of destination after arriving at destination.

②Exporting direct customs transit: referring to the transit in which after the exported goods arrive at customs monitoring place of port of shipment and declare, the goods go through exporting customs transit procedure in customs of port of shipment, then go through exit procedure in customs of point of exit.

(3)Transshipment transit

①Transfer transit of importing: referring to the transit in which for the imported transshipment goods with full-range B/L and needing to be re-loaded in in-country transport vehicles, the consignee or his agent first goes through importing declaration procedure in customs of destination, then in-country carrier or his agent goes through transit procedures in batches in customs of point of entry.

②Transfer transit of exporting: referring to the transit in which for the exported transshipment goods with full-range B/L and needing to be re-loaded in in-country transport vehicles, the consignor or his agent first goes through exporting declaration procedures in customs of port of shipment, then in-country carrier or his agent goes through transit procedure in the customs of port of shipment after listing shipping bill according to exit tools, then goes through exit procedures in customs of point of exit.
